--- title: "Exam Day User Guide - NCCT" url: "https://ncct-help.examroom.ai/en/article/exam-day-user-guide-ncct" language: "en" last_updated: "2026-10-01T05:06:03.682Z" --- # Exam Day User Guide - NCCT ## Login - Go to [examroom.ai](https://examroom.ai/) and click **Login** in the top-right corner of the page.       ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/09a97f3c-b463-460d-8152-05cb2df4a1e0)   - Enter your email and password and click **Login**.   ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/3d120e25-da10-4474-9c2f-a31a23be1698) ## Start Exam - On the Candidate Dashboard, under the **Upcoming** **Exam** section, click **Start** **Exam**.       ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/5362ea7d-fee4-42d0-9b24-94be7a3f2cc4)      **Note**: *The start exam button will be enabled only 15 minutes before the scheduled time.* ### Adding ExamLock Lite - Extension If you have not installed the Examlock Lite extension, here you will get a pop-up to install the extension before proceeding to start the exam. Please ensure you have installed and are ready to proceed with your exam. - Click the **Click here** link provided on the pop-up to install the extensions to the browser.     ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/3f703600-b1db-40d3-ab98-ea5a7d14f597)       - Now, the Extension window opens to add the **Examlock Lite** extension.  - Click **Add to Chrome**.     ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/77611bb7-8c10-41fe-8b7d-c96402138c15)    - Click **Add Extension** to confirm, enabling your browser to be exam-ready for the fair proctoring session.  **Info**: *You can uninstall the extension as soon as you have completed the exam.*       ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/3e8ac0ec-4845-49be-8fe0-92f090204d62)   - If any other extension is detected, ensure to disable it before proceeding. You will see a dialogue box to uninstall your other extensions.  - Click **Uninstall** if you receive the notification to uninstall another extension.      ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/29bbb389-de0a-49b6-bf3d-8fd0f7d339e2)   - In the extensions section, disable/remove all other extensions from the Extension window at the time of your exam session. Use the toggle to disable your other extensions.  **Note**: *After completing the exam, the Examlock Lite extension will be automatically uninstalled. Also, you can follow the same steps as above to visit the extensions section and remove it after your exam. Click the **Start** **Exam** button again and proceed. - Click the check boxes to acknowledge that you are prepared for the online exam and then click **Okay** to continue.      ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/d9045d3e-21da-4e6e-99ab-dee3743fdd8f)   - After acknowledgement, the Examination Rules appear. After reading, select the checkbox to agree to the Terms and Conditions. The screen displays the hardware, software, browser, and network system configurations.   Please click [System Check](https://help.examroom.ai/en/article/system-check) to view the detailed process. The system displays the camera and audio status. It shows the bitrate levels of the audio and video bitrate levels.    ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/c4024028-7789-4ea4-bf01-8968adc6d76a)   - Now, in the control panel, select the **checkbox** and click **I** **Agree** to provide consent for recording and AI/ML proctoring.       ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/4f117920-4fd8-4352-bc11-60c2917fe422) ## Onboarding During the onboarding process, you will be connected with an Onboarding Agent (OBA) who will walk you through the steps to verify your system, face, ID, environment, and rules before transferring you to a proctor. ### Sharing Your Screen - Select the **Entire Screen** option, click the **Entire Screen Preview** in the center of the screen, and click **Share** to share your entire screen with the OBA and proctor.   ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/a582c7b7-ed4c-4d62-a190-f0882c40bca3)   - The status in the control panel shows waiting for the onboarding agent, and once the OBA (Onboarding Agent) is connected, you will be able to see them in the control panel.       ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/6e17aab1-a548-437a-8607-4be5f91f04b9) ### ID Verification - To start the ID verification steps, A consent message will be displayed in the control panel to provide consent for the ID verification.  - Select the checkbox and click **I** **agree** to provide consent for verifying your ID.       ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/5daad292-6f84-4ea4-97e3-e0a0194c94aa)   - Your ID verification has started. Hold your photo ID in front of the camera and wait until the OBA verifies it.       ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/60988a91-df31-4b4f-8e93-99ff079f1100) ### Face Verification - To begin the face verification steps, a consent message will be displayed in the control panel to provide consent for the face verification.  - Select the checkbox and click **I** **agree** to provide consent for your face verification.       ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/41eb698e-13db-40ae-a23b-49618dd73f9d)   - As directed by the OBA, look directly into the camera while a photo of your face is taken.       ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/dab7979b-d541-4016-8f4d-776019fb121b) ### Exam360 and Room Scan   - Now, to begin the process of Room Scan, the OBA triggers a QR Code display on your screen for you to scan and open the app on your phone and place your phone as suggested by the OBA so they can see your entire testing area, including your computer.       ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/b9dd7f3c-b01b-47c5-8292-55217272cfb7)   - Next, select the checkbox and click "**I** **agree**” to provide consent for a room scan.       ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/5d7a738a-47cd-4832-90f6-fae18a74cc3e)   - Follow the room scan procedure as directed by the onboarding agent.       ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/7387825f-757b-4054-b96e-4e94ba2f135a)   - Once the required verification process is completed by OBA, you will be transferred to a proctor. - As the OBA initiates the transfer process, you will be provided with exam rules to go through.
